Meet Jennifer
I've known I wanted to be a writer since the second grade. I love what I do, and I like to think it shows.
Born and raised in New Jersey, I studied Journalism and Creative Writing at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison before landing my first magazine gig at the state's largest regional magazine: New Jersey Monthly. After editorial stints at a daily newspaper and magazines including Working Mother and New Jersey Business, I decided to take the plunge and follow my dream of becoming a freelance writer--and never looked back.

Throughout my career, I've written about a wide range of topics for both regional and national publications. I've also developed a passion for helping businesses communicate with their current and prospective customers more effectively, and I'm frequently hired to write everything from website copy for major healthcare organizations to press releases for fledgling entrepreneurs.

When I'm not writing, I'm running. I lost 90 pounds in 2008, and since then I've become a marathon runner, Half Ironman finisher, and black belt in Taekwondo. I live in Central New Jersey with my husband, Todd, and our four-legged son, Miles.
